Adult Therapy Groups

Long-Term Health
A chronic health condition can be difficult to navigate with those who may not grasp the reality of everyday life with the condition; indeed navigating this journey alone is even more challenging.
The group is open to anyone experiencing a long-term physical condition. Those that have joined these groups have communicated that these sessions provide a non-judgmental, safe space to reflect, where they feel a sense of community and shared understanding.

When: Every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month.

Women Only
These group sessions provide a secure, confidential space that acknowledges the female experience to be unique. For instance, discussions may focus around expectations of motherhood, female body image, or gender-based trauma. Those who have attended the single-sex groups have described the sessions as a comforting and safe space, encouraging openness with its sense of community and collective support.

Clay
These group sessions are a playful therapeutic exploration of clay. Its effective in promoting mindfulness and grounding, through multisensory engagement. Those who I have worked with in group clay therapy have expressed feeling calmer with stress reduced. They also explained clay provided a more accessible medium of communication when finding the words were too difficult.
